This story that Charlie Chaplin liked to tell about himself. A theatre announced a competition to saw who coulded act like Charlie Chaplin. People who took part in it had to dress liked Chaplin, walked like Chaplin and act out one of the roles in a Chaplin film. When Charlie Chaplin hearded about the competition he decided, as a joke, to take part in the competition, himself.
