Here I reply to your letter, which arrived two days ago, before I had left for Rome. I told yesterday that the company sent me there next week for a business conference. If I've known / (или просто I know) about it earlier, I would have told you. Anyway, I'll ring you up as soon ast I've go (или просто I get) there. By the way, I met John Marshall who told me that he has been working for the previous two months on the plans for the new factory you are interested in. He works very hard because he looked dead tired. By the time I come to Rome he has finished them, so I'll bring them with me.
