Ronnie Biggs became famous in 1963 for his part in the Great Train Robbery. A gang of criminals stole 2.6 million pounds from a train. Biggs didn't have a big part in the crime, but the police caught him and he went to prison. Two years later he escaped to Paris and changed his appearance. In 1970 he left France. Then, in Australia, he worked in a TV studio, but a reporter recognised him Because of this, Biggs flew to Brazil where he lived with his family for many years. He came back to prison in England in 2001. He became very ill in 2009 and they allowed him to leave prison. He died in 2013.
