She was wearing a long grey dress and she was writing her final words before her execution. At Greenwich Palace, King Henry was talking to his future wife, Jane Seymour. He wasn't thinking about Anne. At twelve o'clock, Anne was dead. Henry and Jane were walking through the palace garden. They were laughing. The birds were singing and the sun was shining. At the Tower, the guards were carrying Anne's body to St Peter's Chapel and the air was silent and cold.
