8. I'm afraid that nothing (hear) from Jane since she left two months ago.

9. The Government says, that tax reforms (introduce) in the new year.

10. The staff meeting (just postpone) as the principle has fallen ill.

    1. The old house on the corner was knocked down last year. 2. Good news! I was asked to take over as the new managing director. 3. All complaints about products are dealt with by our customer services department. 4. She arrived an hour late but it was all right as the meeting was cancelled. 5. Several new halls of residence are being put up now on our campus. 6. It was announced yesterday that the government had decided not to raise income tax. 7. The economic improvement will be felt in the country by this time next year. 8. I’m afraid that nothing has been heard from Jane since she left two months ago. 9. The Government says, that tax reforms will be introduced in the new year. 10. The staff meeting has just been postponed as the principle has fallen ill.
