Why are the rainforest in danger?

Many people are cutting down trees which is also called deforestation. This means that they are destroying the ecosystems for plants and animals so the plants and animals are becoming endangered which results in them dying out or becoming extinct. This is just one reason why the world's rainforests are in danger.
