liked * - в данном случае допустимо оставить глагол like без изменения в том случае, если он несёт информацию, которая является истинной и по сей момент. Другими словами, если "ему" нравилось тогда и нравится сейчас ходить в столовую во время перерыва, то в косвенной речи мы можем оставить like.
