Georgia, a five-year-old schoolgirl, walked her dog at the River Urr's edge in Scotland. She slipped into the fast-flowing water. Sophie, her deaf dog, could not hear the girl's screams but swam to Georgia when she saw her downing. Georgia clung on to Sophie who swam safely back to the bank. Sophie saved the girl's life.
