Golden fazan - bird genus Chrysolophus. One of the most prominent representatives of the pheasant family. Home to this beautiful bird is China. In Central Europe, there are semi-wild populations of golden pheasant. Males have a very beautiful plumage and therefore as ornamental birds kept in zoos and in poultry farms. In Europe, golden pheasants can be observed mainly in captivity. There are several wild populations, but these shy birds under natural conditions is difficult to see.
